Launch Protocol
Post Launch Protocol
1) Create the site (Admin > Sites)
- Go to Admin > Sites
- Click ADD (top-right)
Double check if Site is already live
- In Admin > Sites Search the name of the project to confirm that the site didn’t get launched from the hubspot site creation tool
- if site has been created you can place the site’s details (name & site_id) in the threads
- Go ahead and fill in anything that was left blank on the project’s site settings
2) Site Details standards (field-by-field)
Name
- Use:
PROJECT_NAME: CUSTOMER NAME
Location
- Copy Address Line 1 & 2 from the form, paste into Google, and confirm it’s an active address.
- Use abbreviated address terms where applicable (e.g.,
RdnotRoad,PkwyforParkway, etc.). - If the address doesn’t show up or looks incorrect:
- Tag the submitter, ask them to confirm the address, and note what you found.
Timezone
- Auto-populates after the address is filled out.
Status
- Set to
active
Slack Channel
- Must be lowercase
- Must start with
siteso channels populate correctly - Naming convention:
site-customer_name-project_name
Parent Site
- Select a parent site only if the parent site is provided.
Sitemetric Customer (Company to Bill)
- Select the customer that matches the form.
- If the customer isn’t available:
- Go to Admin > Customer
- Click ADD
- Paste the new customer name (from the form)
Sitemetric Bot Messaging Service (SMS)
- In the New Site Form, check:
utilizing_sitemetric_bot_messaging_servicefield - If Yes:
- In Admin > Site, while you are still on the site information properties
- In the SMS Number field for that project, click order number
- In Admin > Site, while you are still on the site information properties
- If the field isn’t allowing you to order a number:
- Confirm the company has a Tax ID number Admin > Company
- If the Tax ID is missing, reach out to your lead (Arjay) before continuing
- In Admin > Customer, confirm the company is tied to the customer
- Click on order number
- Confirm the company has a Tax ID number Admin > Company
POC (Point of Contact)

STOP — READ BEFORE SELECTING A POC. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NON-NEGOTIABLE.
- The POC uses a WORKER, NOT a USER.
- The Worker must have a status of APPROVED.
- Same as users: if you cannot find a profile in the POC list, escalate to your Manager to correct.
- The POC's Worker profile MUST meet ALL THREE of the following:
- Company on the Worker profile = the customer's company
- Email on the Worker profile = the customer's email domain
- Phone number
- USE THE POC FROM THE NEW SITE LAUNCH FORM. If needed, create a Worker profile in a test site before launch, or on the site post-launch.
⛔ IF ANY OF THESE CONFLICT, THE MESSAGING NUMBER WILL BE DENIED AND CANNOT BE RESUBMITTED.

- Use the internal report: Sites - POCs
- The selected person must be from the customer
- If it’s a new customer, you may use a Sitemetric internal contact
- The selected person must not already have
4 uses - If all names have been used 4 times:
- Go to Admin > Users
- Search the customer’s email domain
- Choose a name not shown in the Sites - POCs report
- Confirm their company in Admin > Workers
Owner
- Paste the information from the Owner prompt on the form.
- If the owner isn’t available to select, leave blank.
Post Launch Protocol
In #new-site-launch
- List out all channels for the project
- Click show message for each (for reference)
- Copy the link to the New Site Form and post it in -ICOMM
- Tag the operations team in every channel
- Click the add them prompt

Close-out
- Once done, check off the submission
- Final step: update the Product Line Billing SharePoint doc (add/verify the site + product line details): Platform Fees folder
