Emergency Mustering and Roll Call (Mobile)

Overview

The emergency mustering feature helps you account for all workers during evacuations or conduct roll call for safety meetings.

Conducting Emergency Mustering

Steps:

1. Open the SiteMetric mobile app
2. Tap the hamburger icon (three lines) in the top left
3. Select Safety
4. Select Emergency Mustering
5. Choose your zone/location (e.g., "Muster Point A")
6. Tap Start Muster

How Emergency Mustering Works

Automatic Detection:

• Your phone becomes a beacon that scans for worker badges
• Workers within 40-50 feet are automatically marked as present
• The list shows all workers detected on site today, their last location, and when they were last seen

Multi-location Synchronization:

• If team members are conducting mustering at other locations (e.g., Muster Point B), all devices synchronize automatically
• Workers marked present at any location appear on all devices in real-time

Contacting Missing Workers:

1. Scroll through the list to identify workers not yet present
2. Tap the phone icon next to their name
3. Call the worker directly

Ending the Muster:

1. Tap End Mustering
2. Choose whether to receive a summary report
3. The report will be generated and sent to you

Using Roll Call for Safety Meetings

The same feature can be used for weekly safety meetings or stand-downs.

Steps:

1. Follow the same steps as emergency mustering
2. Select Roll Call instead of emergency mustering
3. Your phone will automatically mark all workers within 50 feet as present
4. Generate a report for compliance documentation
